Jane Hawn-Jackson is experienced in Divorce, Dissolution and Juvenile Court in cases of: paternity, child support, visitation, child abuse, neglect and dependency and private custody matters.
Jane has over 30 years of legal experience and has served as a former special prosecutor for the Ashtabula County Children Services Board and is experienced in complex custody issues involving parent alienation syndrome, Munchausen syndrome by proxy, and religious cults.
Additionally, Jane has served as a Guardian ad litem, a court appointed attorney who represents the best interest of the children during custody proceedings and has over hundred hours of training as a mediator, including domestic relations mediation, domestic violence mediation and collaborative law mediation.
Jane is a lifetime resident of Ashtabula where both she and her husband have raised two children and have been active in civic and charitable development.
Education: graduated from Villa Maria College with honors and attended Ohio Northern School of Law.
